The Hammondfest CD was produced by the Northshore Regional Endowment For The Arts for the festival. It featured 15 regional bands with original music. Most of the CD was recorded and produced locally by Mr. Crispin Schroeder. The CD was sponsored by Dr. Robert Benson and The Benson Skin Wellness Institute. The CD, entitled "At The Crossroads" was designed to highlight the fact that this region is the crossroads of music where many styles of music come together into one. Geographically, this region is lcoated between other regions that are recognized for their styles of music. Musicians from this region are influenced by these surrounding regions and consequently incorporate that into their style. |
