Johna Bridges (3/23/2002)

I am a 16 year old girl from Kentwood named Johna Bridges. I attend Sumner High School where I am presently in the tenth grade. I was born on April 2, 1986. I was adopted by my grandparents at the age of two. My first public appearance was in 1992 at the age of six, singing at the local dairy festival. My career escalated from there!

Soon I began to sing in competitions and win. I won fourth in the National Beta Convention when I was in the sixth grade. I was the overall winner for the 4-H show in the years 1997 through 1999.  I have won many other awards.  I have had the pleasure of singing twice for Governor Foster and Representative “Tank” Powell at Oak Knoll Country Club. In addition to this, I performed on the Big Red Boat, Opryland, and many other places. Of course, I continue to sing at many local festivals, churches, and parks. I have had the joy of singing with recording artists Chris Gray and Russell Walker. I enjoy singing and hope my great love and dedication for the art will lead to a professional career in music.
